QSL from KUJ39 on 27 December 1954 on 9.490 MHz. Power was 1000 watts.
This QSL letter was from KUJ39 an overseas telephone channel of AT&T at Agana. The station was heard with a looped tape announcement: "This is a test transmission for circuit adjustment purposes from a station of the Radio Corporation of America. This station is located in Agana, Guam." This was a typical type of announcement for these stations. I observed in my report that WRTH said that Radio Free Asia used to be transmitted from Agana on 9.490 MHz on KUJ39 but the engineer disagreed with that.
